How Veto handles information on the public website and in private review.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Veto handles information collected through tryveto.com, email conversations with us, and private product review materials. Separate written agreements may add terms for a paid pilot or customer deployment.
Information We Collect
The public website is intentionally light. We do not run intentional analytics, tracking pixels, account creation, or a public submission form on this preview site.
If you email us, we may receive your name, email address, company, role, message content, and any attachments or file materials you choose to send. If you participate in private review, we may receive the materials needed to discuss the receipt workflow, including screenshots, PDFs, notes, or related file context that you provide.
If Veto uses an identity or business check workflow, we may collect or receive information needed to support that check, such as inquiry IDs, check status, timestamps, reference IDs, result summaries, extracted fields, and related workflow metadata. Check providers may collect additional information directly from the person or business completing the check, such as identity-document images, selfies or liveness information, business details, and screening results, depending on the configured flow.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to you, coordinate private review, improve the product and receipt language, maintain the website, support identity or business checks when used in a Veto workflow, support security and abuse monitoring, and keep ordinary business records.
Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information unless we have agreed on the right handling process in writing.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate email, hosting, storage, and other basic business systems. We may also share information with identity and business check providers when a check flow is used as part of Veto. Those providers may process information under their own notices and agreements. We may also share information with counsel, advisors, or service providers when needed for company operations, subject to appropriate handling expectations.
We may disclose information if required by law or if needed to protect the website, the company, or other users.
Check Boundaries
Veto may use identity or business check providers as evidence sources inside Veto workflows. Veto is not a reseller of those providers, and other organizations do not independently access those providers through Veto as their own check provider.
Provider results are recorded as part of Veto's workflow and compliance record. They are not a release instruction. They are not bank account ownership proof or a substitute for an office's own judgment, policies, callback procedures, or written agreements.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including private review, product development, business records, security, and legal or accounting obligations.
You can ask us to delete or update your contact information by emailing start@tryveto.com.
Your Choices
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain uses of personal information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To make a privacy request, email start@tryveto.com. We may need to confirm enough information to respond to the request.
